The Artwork
This artwork represents strong Blak communities coming together with the broader community in the continuing fight for self-determination and the injustices towards Aboriginal people. It symbolises our connection to country, our Elders, our communitys and to self - to have an unapologetic proudness of our Blakness, where we come from and who we are. It acknowledges the history of our people standing together united and sharing this journey together with the broader Australian community - standing together with a voice of truth.
